TenZ demonstrates incredible Viper utility angles for capturing A site on VALORANT’s Bind map

Ingenious Strategy Unveiled for Viper in VALORANT’s Closed Beta

Viper, in the hands of a skilled player, can prove to be an invaluable agent in VALORANT’s closed beta. Cloud9’s Tyson “TenZ” Ngo recently showcased the full potential of Viper by revealing a quick and efficient method to completely dominate the A site on the map Bind, utilizing all of her abilities.

By taking advantage of the absence of a skybox in VALORANT, players can throw their throwable utility as high as they want, unless blocked by a ceiling. With precise placement and aim, Viper can effectively divide the A site in half using her Toxic Screen ability.

To execute this strategy, Viper must perfectly throw her Poison Orb onto the popular heaven position, where defenders commonly hold while protecting the A site. This will obstruct vision from the spot and compel enemies to retreat.

Additionally, the player must strategically utilize both of Viper’s Snake Bites to create a chemical zone that defenders can utilize while trying to safeguard their site from attackers. This placement effectively eliminates most angles that defenders can use, leaving only a couple of areas for Viper’s team to check when storming the site.

This strategy is highly effective as it eliminates almost all possible angles for defenders, forcing them to either use numerous abilities in response or surrender the site to focus on retaking it. However, the video does not cover how attackers will have to handle enemy utility.

For instance, if a defending Sage blocks the shower entrance that TenZ uses to access the A site with her Barrier Orb and Slow Orb, Viper’s efforts could be significantly hindered, providing enough time for defenders to rotate over for defense. Nevertheless, if the attacking team executes the A take swiftly with Viper’s utility, defenders will be unable to react in time before sustaining casualties.

VALORANT is set to be officially released this summer.
