‘TenZ confidently dismisses claims about Sentinels’ risk-taking with Shroud’

Shroud joins Sentinels as pro player

VALORANT professional Tyson “TenZ” Ngo is confident in Sentinels’ decision to add star Twitch streamer Michael “shroud” Grzesiek to their roster. According to TenZ, shroud’s already impressive skills in the game make him an asset to the team.

On July 8, Sentinels made the surprising announcement of adding shroud to their lineup. The organization initially thought it was a joke when the former CS:GO pro approached them.

However, shroud’s determination and experience in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, as well as his first-person shooter skills, validate his addition to the team. Shroud has devoted over 1000 hours streaming VALORANT, which is the second-highest number of hours he has spent on any game.

Moreover, shroud lives up to his nickname of ‘the human aimbot,’ with an impressive highlight reel that includes extraordinary plays like a triple wall bang from this past week.

TenZ is confident that the popular streamer will be an asset to the team, given his previous professional experience and his exceptional skills. TenZ explained, “CS:GO players will have a pretty easy time going into VALORANT. Like, if they already know VALORANT and know the abilities and stuff, there’s a lot less for them to learn.”

“He’s already really good at the game without actually playing it all the time and competing. Nobody can take that away from him. He is really f**king good, trust me.”

Any rust that shroud may have will likely fade away as he spends weeks playing at boot camp. TenZ is confident that the Twitch star will “perform really well.”

The organization has not disclosed how long shroud’s stint will last, but they have confirmed his participation as a controller player in the NA VCT Last Chance Qualifier in August.

As the name suggests, the NA VCT Last Chance Qualifier is the final opportunity for teams to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2022. Sentinels will have to outperform teams like 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses, FaZe Clan, and more to secure the coveted spot.
