Zellsis and Sentinels Secure Victory in Masters Madrid Final

Sentinels, led by their star player TenZ, emerged victorious in the Masters Madrid final on March 24. After a challenging couple of seasons, the team finally claimed another trophy with a thrilling five-map series win over Gen.G.

A Hard-Fought Battle

The series was a closely contested affair, with Gen.G winning on their map picks of Breeze and Ascent, while Sentinels dominated on Bind and Split. Heading into the decisive Icebox map, zekken was on an impressive kill streak, amassing 89 kills across the first four maps, including 29 kills on Split alone.

Celebrating the Victory

The victory by Sentinels in the Masters Madrid final was met with celebration by fans and players alike. The team’s achievement earned them three VCT championship points, the lion’s share of the prize pool, a Clove-themed trophy, and a special featured slot on the VALORANT store for their bundle. Sentinels now join Fnatic as the only teams to have won two international trophies and are the first team to win two VCT Masters.

A Bright Future for Sentinels

With their win in Masters Madrid, Sentinels have firmly cemented their position as frontrunners in qualifying for Champions 2024. The team has earned six points between Kickoff and Masters Madrid and continues to dominate the Americas league. However, there is little time for rest as the league resumes in just two weeks.

Sentinels’ victory in the Masters Madrid final is a testament to their perseverance and skill. The team, including players Zellsis, zekken, and johnqt, all secured their first international trophy, while TenZ and Sacy joined the elite group of players with two trophies each. Sentinels have proven that they are a force to be reckoned with in the esports world, and fans eagerly await their future performances.
