Teams Shroud Has Played for Professionally

Michael “shroud” Grzesiek: From Pro Player to Gaming Content Creator

Michael “shroud” Grzesiek, a former professional player in both CS:GO and VALORANT, is now one of the most popular gaming content creators worldwide.

During his time in CS:GO, the Canadian-Polish player gained popularity for his aggressive and captivating playstyle. He achieved deep tournament runs and even won several trophies as a professional player.

In July 2017, shroud made the decision to step down from Cloud9’s active roster, where he had been for three years, and transitioned into a full-time streamer for the organization. He continued in this role for a few more months after officially leaving in April 2018.

After four years of creating various gaming content, shroud made a comeback to the professional scene by joining Sentinels’ VALORANT division. However, after failing to qualify for the VALORANT Champions in 2022, he was removed from the roster and once again focused on streaming.

Nevertheless, shroud remains one of the most prominent figures in esports. Having represented multiple organizations in two major esports titles, he has made history in North America.

Teams shroud has played for professionally:

CS:GO

  • Slow Motion
  • Exertus eSports
  • Manajuma
  • Complexity
  • Cloud9

VALORANT

  • Sentinels

The future holds uncertainty for shroud. After parting ways with Sentinels in August 2022, the 28-year-old stated that “the story is not over, it’s just on pause right now.” He expressed his desire to continue competing but has yet to find a team. This suggests a strong possibility of shroud making a return to competitive play in the near future.
