Team Vitality signs top VALORANT duelist for their 2024 VCT roster

Team Vitality Reloads VALORANT Roster for 2024 VCT Season with Signing of Superstar Sayf

Team Vitality has made a major addition to its VALORANT roster for the upcoming 2024 VCT season. Saif “Sayf” Jibraeel, a former member of Team Liquid, has joined Team Vitality on a two-year deal, according to the Global Contract Database. Sayf brings experience, firepower, and talent to the team, making him a valuable acquisition.

Sayf completes the roster for the 2024 season, alongside recent acquisitions Kimmie “Kicks” Laasner and Emil “runneR” Trajkovski. They will be joining the remaining members from last year’s roster, Jokūbas “ceNder” Labutis and Tomas “Destrian” Linikas. Salah Barakat will continue to coach the Vitality VALORANT roster. Sayf and Kicks are signed through 2025, while the rest of the team is signed through 2024.

Joining Team Vitality is a fresh start for Sayf after a challenging season. The team faced disappointment in the EMEA playoffs, falling short of reaching Champions or Masters. Additionally, they were devastated by the sudden and tragic loss of Karel “Twisten” Ašenbrener, who was only 19 years old. In response, Vitality chose to end their season early and withdrew from the LCQ.

However, with the addition of Sayf, Team Vitality hopes to turn their fortunes around in 2024. Sayf was highly rated during the EMEA VCT 2023 season, placing second in overall player rating, ACS, and K/D, according to VLR. He also ranked in the top five for first kills per round.
