Team Liquid reveals their VALORANT roster for the upcoming 2024 VCT season

Team Liquid Announces New VALORANT Roster for 2024

After a disappointing year, Team Liquid has unveiled their new VALORANT roster in a bid to achieve better results in 2024.

The new roster includes familiar faces Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen and Ayaz “nAts” Akhmetshin, along with Georgio “Keiko” Sanassy, James “Mistic” Orfila, and in-game leader Enzo “Enzo” Mestari.

Together, this mix of promising young players and experienced veterans will strive to establish themselves among Europe’s top teams, after their disappointment in the 2023 VCT EMEA League.

Last year, Liquid generated a lot of excitement by being the first team to defeat Fnatic during their 21-game winning streak, earning themselves the regional trophy. However, their roster struggled at Masters Tokyo, suffering defeats against NRG Esports and Evil Geniuses.

At Champions 2023, Liquid had no success against the top teams in the world, exiting in the group stage with consecutive losses to Natus Vincere and LOUD. They failed to win a single map, leaving Los Angeles with numerous unanswered questions. However, with the offseason acquisitions of Keiko, Mistic, and Enzo, they hope to find some answers.

Keiko, a 20-year-old prospect, had a productive year with Apeks. Mistic, a seasoned controller specialist, previously played with Enzo on Fnatic in 2022, which should aid in building synergy. They will need to work together with the two remaining Liquid players, Jamppi and nAts, who are still regarded as two of Europe’s best players.
