Team Liquid Completes VALORANT Roster for VCT 2023

Team Liquid has made some key signings to finalize its VALORANT roster for VCT 2023.

The organization has announced the addition of former M3C superstars Ayaz “nAts” Akhmetshin and in-game leader Igor “Redgar” Vlasov. Joining them is former Guild Esports player Saif “Sayf” Jibraeel.

Liquid’s New VALORANT Players

Team Liquid has added Ayaz “nAts” Akhmetshin, Igor “Redgar” Vlasov, and Saif “Sayf” Jibraeel to its VALORANT roster. The signings were announced today.

Remaining Liquid Roster

The remaining two players on the Liquid roster are Dom “soulcas” Sulcas and Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen. Soulcas is the only player left from Liquid’s acquisition of the Fish123 roster in August 2020.

Player Departures

Multiple players have left the Liquid team to make room for the new signings. Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, Nabil “Nivera” Benrlitom, and Dmitriy “dimasick” Matvienko are among those who have departed.

Changes After VALORANT Champions

Liquid has overhauled its roster following a top-eight finish at VALORANT Champions in September. The team ranked third in the EMEA region, with Fnatic and FunPlus Phoenix ahead of them.

Upcoming Competitions

Liquid will be participating in the EMEA international league starting next year. The 2023 VCT circuit will begin with a kick-off tournament held in São Paulo, Brazil. This three-week-long event will feature all 30 partnered teams.

The winner of the tournament will secure an additional spot for their respective region at Masters later in the year.
