Team Heretics sidelines ardiis from active roster citing health concerns

Team Heretics Benches Ardiis Due to Health Issues

Team Heretics has made the decision to bench Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks for the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour Challengers event. According to the team, this is due to health issues. Amine “Amilwa” Saidi will be replacing ardiis on the lineup.

Team Heretics was previously a dominant force in European VALORANT, winning First Strike and making it to the grand finals of VCT Masters One, but their performance declined in VCT Stage Two where they failed to qualify for a Challengers main event.

As a result, Team Heretics underwent significant roster changes before VCT Stage Three. They were left with only one active player, Christian “loWel” Garcia, after the rest of the roster was lost in the post-Masters Two Reykjavik shuffle.

Ardiis, who previously played for G2 Esports, joined Heretics earlier this month along with Patryk “paTiTek” Fabrowski. However, the new roster did not qualify for the VCT Stage Three Challengers One main event.

Ardiis has been struggling with health issues that have impacted his performance. He recently confirmed that he has been in and out of the hospital, making it difficult for him to compete at the highest level of VALORANT. Due to these complications, Heretics has decided to bench ardiis and bring in Amilwa as his replacement.

Heretics will have another opportunity to qualify for Masters Three Berlin and reclaim their position at the top of European VALORANT in the VCT Stage Three Challengers 2 event.
