Tarik and shroud Almost Formed a New VALORANT Team for Challengers North America
Tarik and shroud were on the brink of creating a formidable VALORANT team that would have undoubtedly impressed viewers during Challengers North America. However, despite the hype, their plans never materialized.
Discovered through Tarik’s Stream
Fans only recently learned about the potential team during one of tarik’s streams. He was following Marved, zombs, and sinatraa competing under the stream team UNTAMABLE BEASTS in the VALORANT Challengers North America last chance qualifier.
Unsuccessful Plans
According to Tarik, the original roster would have included himself, iiTzTimmy, and shroud, with plans to recruit two additional players. Unfortunately, the team never formed.
Tarik’s Responsibility
Tarik took the blame for not getting the project off the ground as he was supposed to handle the rest of the player recruitment. This would have been Tarik’s first professional VALORANT experience after retiring from professional CS:GO in 2021, including a short stint with Sentinels during North America’s last chance qualifier for VALORANT Champions in 2022.
Tarik’s Streaming Success
Instead of competing in the VALORANT Challengers North America LCQ, Tarik has been streaming the tournament to his viewers. His watch parties have become immensely popular, attracting viewers who prefer a more casual viewing experience.
Tarik also co-hosted the Ludwig x Tarik Invitational earlier this month, which featured a $50,000 prize pool. The Guard emerged as the victors, defeating TSM in the grand finals.
With the revelation of Tarik’s plans to play alongside shroud, fans may hope to see this project come to fruition in the future.
