Sova Audio Glitch Discovered by VALORANT Player

New Audio Bug in VALORANT Gives Unfair Advantage to Players

A recently discovered audio bug in VALORANT is allowing players to activate the agent’s ultimate ability voice line without actually using the ability. This exploit can give players an unfair advantage by tricking their enemies into thinking they are using their ultimate ability while still being able to defend themselves.

How the Bug Occurs

Specifically, the bug has been found in Sova’s Hunter’s Fury ability, which involves firing three long-range, wall-piercing energy blasts. Normally, activating this ability takes a few seconds and gives opponents a chance to evade the blasts. If a blast hits an enemy directly, they are killed, while partially hit enemies sustain significant damage.

However, players have discovered that by simultaneously using Sova’s ultimate ability and recon drone, they can trigger the ultimate voice line without actually pulling out the ability. This bug allows Sova players to confuse their enemies, making them anticipate the deadly blasts, even when they are freely moving around the map.

Potential Impact and Hope for a Fix

Although this bug doesn’t directly damage enemy players, it can still cause confusion and disruption to the enemy team’s strategies. The glitch can be replicated repeatedly as long as players have both abilities available. The discoverer of the bug has reported it in the VALORANT Bug megathread, in the hopes that Riot Games, the game’s developer, will address and resolve the issue promptly.
