Sources: T1 enhances VALORANT roster with dynamic addition

T1 Signs New Fifth Member for VALORANT Roster

T1 has officially signed “dynamic” as their newest member of the VALORANT roster, according to multiple sources.

Dynamic spent 2021 playing for Brimstone Gaming and The Mafia, although he didn’t achieve much success. His highest placement was second in the Nerd Street Gamers Summer Championship 11. Despite not finding success with his teams, he gained recognition in the tier two scene for his impressive skills on Jett.

In early 2022, dynamic participated in the Knights Monthly Gauntlet: March as a trial for T1. Although they didn’t make it to the finals, they defeated TSM Academy in the third-place decider match.

Dynamic will replace Johann “seven” Hernandez, who is set to join TSM, as originally reported by . T1 fell short of qualifying for the North American Stage One group stage with seven.

During the first open qualifier on Jan. 27, T1 seemed poised to advance to the group stage, but they were defeated by Rise and sent to the lower bracket. In the lower bracket, T1 was disqualified in their match against TSM due to unauthorized use of communications by head coach David “dd8” Denis.

The second open qualifier began on Feb. 3, and T1 faced an uphill battle, losing to VIRTUOSO in the round of 32. In order to qualify for the group stage, they needed to win six consecutive matches. Unfortunately, they were eliminated by Cosmic Divide, ending their VCT Stage One run.

With the addition of dynamic, T1 aims to bring back the missing spark. The team’s next opportunity in VCT will be in early May.
