Last night marked the beginning of the VALORANT beta, and even though we may still be a long way from official esports tournaments, tonight’s matchup promises a glimpse into the future.
At 9pm CT tonight, a team of content creators will square off against a squad of VALORANT developers in what is sure to be an epic clash of FPS titans.
On one side, we have the challenger team: Shroud, Skadoodle, Summit1g, Fl0m, and Dizzy, a formidable group of FPS content creators who have proven their mettle in Counter-Strike. Together, they form a star-studded lineup of streaming giants.
But don’t count out Riot’s team just yet. According to Dizzy, they also have a roster that includes a few ex-CS pros. This matchup could provide a glimpse of what competitive VALORANT will look like in the future.
The streamer team is exclusively made up of clients of Loaded, one of the leading management groups for gaming influencers.
Who will prevail? Regardless of the outcome, this matchup promises to deliver some captivating content. Tune in to the broadcasters’ channels tonight at 9pm CT.
