Shroud Discovers VALORANT Glitch Allowing Him to Track Enemies

Shroud Discovers Bug in VALORANT Allowing Him to Track Enemies on Minimap

During a recent stream, popular streamer Shroud encountered a unique bug in VALORANT that gave him an advantage by allowing him to track his enemy on the minimap for the entire round.

While defending the C site on the Haven map, Shroud peeked down the long path to gain vision. Little did he know, this move provided him with much more information than he expected.

After being shot at multiple times, Shroud took cover behind a box and noticed that he could see his enemy’s location on the map as the enemy began rotating through mid to access the site.

Shroud was already familiar with this bug and said, “I’ve got the bug,” before repositioning himself to get behind the enemy.

Thanks to the bug, Shroud was able to follow the enemy onto the site and activate his ultimate as Yoru. This forced the enemy to stop planting and resulted in Shroud’s team winning in time.

Following the team’s victory, Shroud confirmed that this bug has happened to him before.

“That bug happens to me all the time,” Shroud said. “I don’t understand, it’s been happening since the new update.”

While the exact cause of this bug is unclear, many Reddit users theorize that it may be triggered by Shroud taking damage as he moved behind the structure. This could have caused the game to register the enemy’s location despite Shroud being behind cover.

At the moment, there is no information from VALORANT about a fix for this bug. However, according to Reddit, it is difficult to replicate and therefore not easily exploitable.
