Shopify Rebellion Makes a Bold Entry into Men’s VALORANT, Recruiting Luminosity Roster Ahead of LCQ

Shopify Rebellion Signs Former Luminosity Gaming VALORANT Roster

Shopify Rebellion has officially signed the former men’s roster of Luminosity Gaming in VALORANT, including bdog, dazzLe, mada, moose, and TIGG. The announcement also includes the addition of head coach Jared “mac” Schneider and manager Connor Larkin. This move confirms the earlier report that Shopify Rebellion had been in talks with these players for several weeks.

Continued Success for Shopify Rebellion

As part of Luminosity Gaming, the team showed impressive performance by qualifying for both Stage One and Stage Two of the NA VCT 2022 season. They finished in the top six in Stage One and the top eight in Stage Two. While they didn’t make it to the Masters in either stage, their strong performances earned them a spot in the NA VCT Last Chance Qualifier. This upcoming tournament in August will determine one team who will compete alongside XSET and OpTic at VCT Champions 2022.

Shopify Rebellion has already made its mark in NA VALORANT through the women’s scene. The organization signed the Built Butter roster in June 2021, and the team has consistently finished second in the NA Game Changers Series, narrowly losing to Cloud9 White in the grand finals of multiple events. Furthermore, Shopify Rebellion has applied for partnership with Riot and VALORANT esports in 2023, as revealed by program development lead Dario Wünsch earlier this month.

Expanding the Reach

Aside from VALORANT, Shopify Rebellion also competes in Rocket League, Halo, and Starcraft II, displaying a wide range of talent and versatility within the esports industry.
