Shocking Elimination Match: KRU Esports Surprises Sentinels at VCT Champions

VALORANT Upset: KRU Esports Shocks Sentinels in Thrilling Series

In one of the biggest upsets in the history of VALORANT, KRU Esports pulled off a stunning victory against Sentinels in a thrilling three-map series. Despite losing their own map pick, KRU Esports managed to eliminate one of the top teams at VCT Champions.

Sentinels Dominates Map One

Sentinels took control early in the series on Fracture, which was KRU’s map pick. With TenZ making impressive plays and ShahZaM and SicK performing well, Sentinels shut down KRU’s star player NagZet. KRU struggled to gain any momentum, and Sentinels secured a 13-7 victory.

KRU Fights Back on Haven

In the second half on Haven, KRU faced a tough challenge from Sentinels. However, KRU managed to win key rounds and put up a strong fight. Despite Sentinels’ stellar performance, KRU turned the tide with a massive 4K play by NagZet. They secured a 13-11 victory, tying the series.

An Intense Battle on Split

In the deciding map, Split, both teams fought tooth and nail for a spot in the playoffs. The rounds went back and forth in the first half, with Sentinels claiming the lead at 8-4. However, KRU didn’t give up and staged a comeback. With crucial plays from NagZet and an unstoppable rush into site B, KRU secured a 13-11 victory, winning the series 2-1.

KRU’s victory is historic, as they become the first non-European team to reach the playoffs at VCT Champions. The remaining group stage matches will take place on Tuesday, December 6. Fans in North America will be rooting for Envy and Cloud9 Blue to secure playoff spots after this memorable upset.
