Sentinels Adds Sinatraa, ShahZaM, zombs, and SicK to Their VALORANT Roster

Sentinels Jumps into VALORANT Esports with New Roster

Sentinels, the Los Angeles-based esports organization, has entered the world of VALORANT with the signing of a partially-assembled roster.

Today, Sentinels announced that it has signed former Overwatch players Sinatraa and Jared “zombs” Gitlin, as well as former CS:GO players ShahZaM and Hunter “SicK” Mims. The organization and the players are currently working together to choose the fifth and final member of the lineup.

Roster Announcement from Sentinels

Sinatraa, the MVP and champion of the 2019 Overwatch League, announced his retirement from competitive Overwatch earlier today. Once considered one of the most promising players in the league at just 20 years old, Sinatraa revealed that he had lost his passion for the game and made the decision to switch to VALORANT.

Zombs, who also previously played Overwatch, most recently competed with Sentinels on its Apex Legends team.

SicK and ShahZaM have played together on various teams including TSM, Misfits, and Complexity. After leaving Complexity, SicK took a hiatus from CS:GO, citing the game’s monotonous nature as the reason for his break.

Hunter “SicK” Mims is a 22-year-old VALORANT player for Sentinels who mainly plays Phoenix, Sage, and Sova. See what SicK uses to stay on top.

Riot, the developer of VALORANT, has expressed its desire for the competitive scene of the game to grow organically through grassroots efforts, especially during its early stages.
