Sentinels adds Marved to VALORANT team after SicK’s suspension

North American organization Sentinels acquires new player for VALORANT roster following suspension

Sentinels, the North American organization known for its success in VALORANT, has recently added a new player to its roster. The team signed Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen, a former OpTic player and considered one of the best controllers in the world, according to sources. This signing comes after the suspension of Hunter “SicK” Mims due to his recent arrest for criminal trespassing.

SicK’s suspension and search for a replacement

On March 6, Sentinels decided to temporarily suspend SicK following his arrest. SicK was charged with a Class B Misdemeanor and is currently being held in Collin County jail in Dallas, Texas. In light of this situation and the upcoming start of the franchise league, Sentinels CEO Rob Moore announced on Twitter that they would be signing a sixth player to fill the void temporarily and provide support to SicK during this difficult time.

Marved’s impressive career and release from OpTic

Marved, known for his exceptional skills, previously achieved significant success during his time with OpTic. He was hailed as one of the world’s top players and even won the VCT Stage One Masters event in Reykjavík, Iceland. OpTic finished in second place at the VALORANT Champions tournament. However, Marved has not competed professionally since parting ways with OpTic. He recently participated in North American qualifiers for Challengers alongside Sinatraa under the team name “UNTAMABLE BEASTS.”

With his addition to the Sentinels roster, fans and esports enthusiasts eagerly anticipate Marved’s performance in upcoming events and tournaments.
