Seagull showcases impressive VALORANT skills during Overwatch 2 match

VALORANT vs Overwatch: A Comparison of Team-Based Shooters

VALORANT and Overwatch may both be team-based first-person shooters, but their gameplay and approach differ significantly.

While both games have characters with special abilities, the pace of team fights in Overwatch is much faster, with unlimited ammo being sprayed in every direction.

On the other hand, in VALORANT, players take a more patient approach, waiting for opponents to appear and swiftly eliminating them. Methodical precision and execution are key to success in VALORANT.

Former Overwatch League pro Seagull recently addressed viewers who commented that he was aiming in Overwatch 2 as if he were playing VALORANT. To prove them wrong, he decided to demonstrate how he would play Overwatch like a VALORANT pro.

“No chat, I can’t, I actually move my mouse,” Seagull explained.

He strategically positioned himself near two doorways, giving him a narrow angle to aim his crosshair through. Describing it as a “tight angle” and ensuring his aim was at head level, Seagull showcased his impressive VALORANT-like skill—in Overwatch.

Within seconds, he spotted an unsuspecting Genji player and eliminated him with a quick shot, hearing the satisfying dinging sound of success.

Seagull is known for his skill and ability to entertain viewers. While he can explain the intricacies of the game, he also sees it as a form of entertainment.

When he’s not analyzing the game, Seagull enjoys highlighting the fun aspects, like his belief that Wrecking Ball is a great character to play because it allows players to “roll around and have a good time.”
