ScreaM’s Memorable Phoenix Ultimate Mishap Immortalized in New VALORANT Battle Pass

ScreaM’s Infamous Blunder Immortalized in VALORANT

Imagine loading into a game only to see a spray on the wall reminding you of one of your most famous mistakes. That’s exactly what happened to VALORANT star Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom, who is already having a tumultuous season with Karmine Corp in VCT 2023. Today, a new spray was added via the Episode Six, Act Three battle pass, forever memorializing one of ScreaM’s blunders.

Don’t Look Back is the name of the spray, and it refers to an infamous round between Team Liquid and OpTic Gaming during the upper quarterfinals of Champions 2022. Back when ScreaM was playing for Liquid, he found himself in a 1v1 situation against OpTic’s Victor Wong on Ascent’s B site. ScreaM attempted to retake the site and defuse the spike.

ScreaM decided to use his ultimate on Phoenix to gain information about Victor’s location or potentially defuse the spike halfway. Unfortunately, Victor was waiting in Market, and upon hearing ScreaM’s footsteps, he quickly moved into A Main and got behind him. Despite realizing what was happening, ScreaM missed the timing and was unable to catch Victor before he reached safety. ScreaM’s ultimate expired, and Victor ended the round by fatally stabbing ScreaM in the back.

The spray is exceptional because it directly references an individual play in professional VALORANT. The KAY/O in the spray even wields the same knife that Victor used during the match at Champions. Unlike games like CS:GO, where legendary plays are immortalized with permanent graffiti sprays, this spray allows you to relive this moment anywhere in VALORANT.

Now, if you ever find yourself facing ScreaM in a match, make sure to have this spray equipped.
