ScreaM Announces Departure from Karmine Corp VALORANT Roster Following Challenging 2023 Season

ScreaM Announces Departure from Karmine Corp’s VALORANT Champions Tour Roster

Adil “ScreaM” Benrlito has revealed that he will be leaving Karmine Corp’s VALORANT Champions Tour starting roster ahead of the 2024 season. The former captain of KC made the announcement on August 29.

In a post, ScreaM stated that Karmine Corp confirmed the shutdown of their existing roster, which prompted him to explore his options for the future. According to the VCT global contract database, ScreaM’s contract with Karmine Corp is set to expire in 2024.

“I understand and respect the decision, and wish the club the best,” ScreaM tweeted. “I was not perfect and I have my responsibilities. It was a very difficult season, but I thank the fans for their support.”

Karmine Corp Plans for a New Roster in 2024

Recent reports suggest that Karmine Corp is putting all of its players and coaches on the market and is looking to start next year with a fresh set of faces, except for Ryad “Shin” Ensaad.

In 2023, Karmine Corp had a disappointing run in the VALORANT scene’s inaugural season with franchising. ScreaM considers it the worst stretch of his FPS career.

KC finished last in the VCT EMEA regular season with a record of 2-7, a map score of 4-15, and a round differential of -93. During the Last Chance Qualifier, they put up a respectable showing, but fell short of qualifying for the main event.

ScreaM and KC Roster Look Ahead

Despite the upcoming changes, ScreaM and the rest of the members of the existing KC roster are determined to leave on a positive note. They will face T1 in a showmatch at the KCX3 fan fest event at Paris La Défense Arena on September 16.

ScreaM remains motivated and hopes to quickly return to the server and compete once again.
