VALORANT Player Discovers Sage’s Ability to Revive Herself
Phoenix is not the only VALORANT agent capable of bringing themselves back to life, as discovered by a player in the practice range. The player posted an interesting video showcasing Sage’s ability to revive herself.
In order to resurrect herself, the player had to kill themselves first. By jumping from a high point and taking fall damage, the player died and immediately respawned at the same location. They then jumped and activated Sage’s ultimate ability on her corpse.
The revive animation successfully resurrected Sage at the exact point where she had fallen. The agent’s voice actor even recorded a quote specifically for this scenario.
Data-injection=”true”>It is unclear why Riot decided to record a voice line for Sage resurrecting herself, considering the game only allows one of each agent per team.
Data-injection=”true”>However, one fan speculates that a potential “deathmatch mode” may allow multiple players to select the same agent. Another fan believes that the voice line was added in anticipation of another agent with a resurrect ability being added to the VALORANT cast.
Alternatively, the voice line could have simply been recorded in case a skilled fan was able to achieve this feat in the practice range.
