S1mple shines in one-on-one VALORANT showdown, proving CS:GO skills fall short.

The Clash Between CS:GO GOAT and a VALORANT Pro

In a surprising turn of events, even the greatest of all time (GOAT) in CS:GO can struggle in VALORANT.

Last weekend, Natus Vincere released a YouTube video showcasing a one-vs-one duel between s1mple and cNed, both members of NAVI’s VALORANT division. In the end, cNed emerged victorious with a 2-0 score.

To level the playing field, the rules of the game were simplified for the one-vs-one match. The mid area on Ascent was chosen as the battlefield for the first map.

At the beginning, s1mple secured a lead with an 8-3 score. However, cNed staged a comeback after switching sides and ultimately won the first map, 13-10. s1mple acknowledged cNed’s impressive performance on the attacking side, stating that Ascent is a T-side map.

Next, the players faced off on Bind, which initially favored cNed. He took a commanding 9-2 lead, but s1mple made a valiant effort to catch up after switching sides. Despite his efforts, cNed emerged as the winner, securing a 13-9 result.

Although s1mple is a CS:GO pro and widely considered the best player in Valve’s game, his skills didn’t guarantee success against a professional player in Riot Games’ FPS, VALORANT.
