Riot officially announces the arrival of Team Deathmatch mode in VALORANT

VALORANT to Introduce New Game Mode Later This Year

Riot Games has announced that a new game mode will be coming to VALORANT later this year, as revealed in their recent dev diaries YouTube video.

The executive producer of VALORANT, Anna Donlon, mentioned in the video that Riot will be bringing their own version of Team Deathmatch to the game. While no specific details were shared, fans can speculate on how the mode will play out.

Team Deathmatch is a game mode where multiple teams compete to achieve the highest number of kills in a single match, without any additional objectives. Unlike other game modes in VALORANT that involve planting the Spike, Team Deathmatch is purely focused on eliminations.

In the video, Donlon also teased the release of other exciting features such as a new agent and a mode called Swiftplay. These updates, including Team Deathmatch, give players a glimpse into the future of VALORANT. Swiftplay is currently in the beta testing phase.

Team Deathmatch has been a popular game mode in other shooter titles like Call of Duty and Doom. VALORANT’s take on this mode is sure to bring intense and fast-paced action to the game.

Stay tuned for more updates on VALORANT and the upcoming game mode!
