Riot highlights Jett’s abilities in newest VALORANT gameplay preview

Jett Takes Center Stage in VALORANT’s Newest Gameplay Teaser

Jett, the South Korean poster girl for Riot’s upcoming tactical shooter VALORANT, is showcased as one of the most agile and quick-footed agents in the game. While she may not have the same level of mobility as Overwatch’s Tracer, she is not far behind.

Jett’s agility and evasive fighting style allow her to take risks unlike any other character in VALORANT.

In Riot’s gameplay teaser, Jett finds herself in a one-vs-four situation with limited time. Instead of giving up, she takes the initiative. Using her Updraft ability, she locates a vantage point and lands a headshot kill with her silenced USP.

To catch her opponents off guard, Jett jumps down from a high ground and deploys her Cloudburst ability. The cloud of fog is strategically placed in a choke point, momentarily obstructing the enemy team’s vision. When the smoke dissipates, Jett swiftly moves to the left with her Tailwind ability while taking two more shots with her pistol to secure the round.

Although Jett’s ultimate ability, Blade Storm, was not showcased in the teaser, it is known that she wields a set of deadly throwing knives that have the potential to eliminate enemies with a single hit. Each kill restores a dagger to her arsenal.

The closed beta for VALORANT is set to launch on April 7, offering players the chance to experience the game before its official release this summer.
