Reportedly, XQc’s North American VALORANT deal is at risk

Twitch Streamer xQc Delays Signing Deal with Turtle Troop VALORANT Roster

The signing deal between popular Twitch streamer Félix “xQc” Lengyel and the Turtle Troop VALORANT roster has hit a roadblock as xQc has yet to finalize the paperwork. This delay has caused frustration within the Turtle Troop camp, according to VALORANT reporter George Geddes.

Despite the setback, both parties are still in discussions as of March 27 and remain committed to reaching an agreement.

XQc has been expressing his desire to acquire a VALORANT team since January, specifically aiming to compete against Disguised Toast’s team. Recently, xQc entered talks with the free agent Turtle Troop VALORANT roster, but the deal is still pending completion.

It is uncertain whether Turtle Troop’s performance in the NA VALORANT Challengers League has affected xQc’s decision to delay signing the agreements. While Turtle Troop had a strong start, their performance faltered in a crucial match against FaZe, and they will need to improve in the second split to avoid starting playoffs in the lower bracket.

The NA VALORANT Challengers League will continue after the Mid-Season Faceoff, with the second split starting on April 18.
