The VCT Americas Kickoff event saw a historic moment in the world of VALORANT as it broke both the Champions trophy and peak viewership records in the Americas region. The grand final match between Sentinels and LOUD reached an impressive peak of 823,008 viewers, the highest ever for a non-international VALORANT match. This surpasses the previous record set by the opening match of the 2022 VCT NA Last Chance Qualifier, where Sentinels faced off against The Guard, and also marked shroud’s professional VALORANT debut.
