The recent VCT Masters Copenhagen event, which marked the first live audience experience for VALORANT, did not achieve the success that fans were expecting. Despite the intense atmosphere at Forum Copenhagen, the online broadcast of the event saw a peak viewership of only 786,185 during the grand finals between FunPlus Phoenix and Paper Rex. This figure represents the lowest peak viewership in the history of international VALORANT tournaments.

Not only did VCT Masters Copenhagen have the lowest peak viewership, but it also recorded the lowest average viewership in the history of VALORANT’s international tournaments. The event, which took place from July 10 to 24 and featured 12 teams from around the world competing for a $650,000 prize pool, had an average viewership of 317,748.
Comparison to Past VALORANT Tournaments
VCT Masters Copenhagen is only the second international VALORANT tournament to fall short of one million concurrent viewers. The previous tournament, VCT Stage Three Masters Berlin in 2021, also didn’t reach the million mark but had a higher peak viewership of 811,370.
