Raze’s Rocket Intercepted by a Soaring Skye Tiger in VALORANT

Tasmanian Tiger Blocks Raze’s Showstopper in VALORANT

A recent VALORANT match showcased a tragic play where a Skye player’s Tasmanian tiger inadvertently blocked an eight-point ultimate ability from the opposing Raze.

At the start of the round, the Raze player used two Blast Packs to burst through Ascent’s B main and catch the enemies off guard. Armed with a rocket launcher, the Raze player aimed it at the enemy Jatt and Phoenix. However, the play was completely negated by Skye’s flying tiger.

Raze’s rocket is a projectile that can explode upon contact with anything, including certain agent abilities. Skye had used her Trailblazer ability to scout the B site and noticed the enemy Raze entering. Skye tried to concuss Raze by commanding her tiger to intercept the rocket mid-air, effectively nullifying the ultimate ability.

The blast did only 49 damage to Raze and 51 damage to the enemy Jett, leaving Raze vulnerable with only a Bucky shotgun for defense. Raze was quickly eliminated by the enemy Jett’s Vandal.

The Raze player posted on Reddit, stating, “Skye’s dog decided to be a hero.”

Conclusion

Despite the Raze player’s impressive play, Skye’s Tasmanian tiger intervened, leading to the ultimate ability’s failure. This showcases the impact of agent abilities and how they can alter the outcome of a round in VALORANT.
