Raze player scores impressive 3-second ace with a perfectly aimed rocket in VALORANT

Raze Player Aces with Showstopper Ultimate in Valorant

There’s nothing more satisfying than pulling off a clutch play using your ultimate ability in Valorant. Earlier today, a Raze player shared a gameplay clip on Reddit, showcasing a remarkable example of this with Raze’s Showstopper ultimate.

Showstopper equips Raze with a rocket that deals heavy damage, up to a maximum of 150 points, in a wide area.

Although it’s a strong offensive ultimate, hitting targets with it is not easy. A special voice line alerts all opponents that Raze is armed with the rocket, prompting them to take cover for a few seconds until the ultimate deactivates. This requires Raze players to find creative angles or act quickly when using the Showstopper.

3 Second ACE! (Fastest ace ever?)

In a game of Valorant on Bind, this Raze player demonstrated a perfect understanding of these mechanics. They used their ultimate right as the round started, strategically positioning themselves by launching a Blast Pack. The timing was impeccable, as they utilized the ultimate just before being propelled into the air by the explosion, allowing them to shoot from a high vantage point.

This play proved devastating for the opposing team. The ult was aimed at the area where the entire enemy team had gathered to aggressively defend, anticipating a push towards the B site.

The Showstopper resulted in a wipeout of the entire team, leading to an ace in just three seconds. “Put it on Reddit,” one of the player’s teammates exclaimed amidst the celebration. Despite receiving numerous nerfs from Riot Games, this play showcases Raze’s continued power when utilizing her explosive abilities at the right moment and angle.

It’s worth noting that this play may not have occurred if the opposing team had a KAY/O agent, whose abilities can suppress enemies at the start of the round. KAY/O recently joined Valorant’s roster with the launch of Episode Three, introduced into the game yesterday alongside a new battle pass, the first-anniversary event, and other exciting features and updates.
