Prominent VALORANT Roster Shocked and Eliminated from Challengers Qualifiers

Dark Ratio Eliminates Stewie2K and The Nation, Qualifies for VCT Challengers

Dark Ratio has secured their spot in the VCT Challengers main event by eliminating Stewie2K and The Nation in the qualifiers.

The Nation, a team consisting of experienced FPS talents Stewie2K, brax, and WARDELL, along with up-and-comers Daniel “Rossy” Abedrabbo and Tanner “TiGG” Spanu, was the center of attention during the qualification process.

Despite having a lineup of seasoned players, many fans expected The Nation to qualify for Challengers in one way or another. However, a crucial loss to BreakThru in the upper bracket put The Nation at a disadvantage, and they had to fight for the final spot. On the other hand, Dark Ratio, led by former 100 Thieves duelist Will Cheng, consisted of a group of Dark Zero players.

This was the second encounter between these two teams. In an earlier match, The Nation had dominated Dark Ratio, winning with a score of 26 rounds to 14. However, the lower bracket of Challengers gave Dark Ratio the opportunity to bounce back against the team that had initially defeated them.

The series between the two teams was a nail-biter, but Dark Ratio showcased their superior skills by winning 13-10 on Fracture, taking the series 2-1. Although The Nation still has other chances to qualify for Challengers, this event serves as a reminder that big names do not always guarantee victory.
