Prize Pool and Ladder Point Distribution for VCT Masters Reykjavík

Riot Games Announces $600,000 Prize Pool for VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Reykjavík

VALORANT players have something to look forward to as Riot Games recently revealed that the upcoming VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) Masters Reykjavík will have a whopping prize pool of over $600,000. This means that each of the 12 participating teams will have the chance to walk away with a piece of the prize money.

Enhanced Prizes for Masters Reykjavík Winners

The winners of Masters Reykjavík will receive the same prize distribution as the first Masters event that took place in Iceland almost a year ago. The victorious team will receive $200,000 in prize money and 750 ladder points, which will contribute to their qualification for VALORANT Champions at the end of 2022. Second place will also enjoy an increased reward, receiving $120,000 and 500 ladder points. This is a significant upgrade compared to the previous Masters Reykjavík tournament, where the runner-up only received $100,000 and 350 points.

Greater Rewards for Third and Fourth Place

The teams that secure third and fourth place at Masters Reykjavík will not only receive $85,000 and $65,000 respectively, but they will also earn 400 and 300 ladder points. This is a substantial increase compared to the previous year. Additionally, the third and fourth place teams will receive an extra $5,000 each. The remaining teams will also receive varying amounts of prize money and ladder points, ranging from $40,000 to $10,000 and from 250 to 125 points.
