Prime Gaming brings exclusive in-game content capsules for LoL, VALORANT, TFT, and more

Riot Games and Amazon Prime Gaming Bring Back Reward Capsules for Players

In February, Riot Games fans were disappointed when Amazon Prime Gaming stopped offering reward capsules for popular games like League of Legends, VALORANT, Teamfight Tactics, and Legend of Runeterra. However, this month, the two companies have joined forces once again to reintroduce the beloved goodie capsules that were a hit among Amazon Prime subscribers.

A Renewed Collaboration for More Goodies

“We’re excited to continue our successful promotion with Riot Games,” said Josh Dodson, the director of Prime Gaming. “Prime Gaming members have shown great appreciation for the regular content we have provided for Riot’s biggest and most popular games. We look forward to building on this success and offering even more value to our members and Riot fans.”

League players who have an active Amazon Prime membership will now be eligible to claim the Prime Gaming Capsule, which includes exciting rewards like a guaranteed epic mystery skin permanent, a permanent champion shard, 350 RP, a 30-day experience boost, a mystery ward skin, two eternal shards, and 200 orange essence.

For VALORANT players, there will be monthly content drops for an entire year, including special player cards, gun buddies, and sprays. Wild Rift players can also enjoy monthly drops throughout the year, featuring random baubles, emotes, recalls, skins, and skin poses. Legends of Runeterra enthusiasts can claim monthly content like tier three prismatic chests, epic cards, and rare cards.

Teamfight Tactics players will have the opportunity to claim rewards every month for a year, such as an emote, icon, a Little Legend, and a Star Shard bundle. However, autobattlers will need to wait an extra month for the drops to begin.

Expanding the Partnership

Looking ahead to 2023, Prime Gaming is stepping up its partnership with Riot Games by becoming a global sponsor for League esports events, the VALORANT Champions Tour, and Teamfight Tactics tournaments. The company will also sponsor multiple League esports events for the LCS and LEC, as well as VALORANT competitions in North America and the EMEA regions.

This renewed collaboration between Riot Games and Amazon Prime Gaming brings back valuable rewards for players and further strengthens the bonds between these two leading gaming companies.
