Preview of a possible VALORANT Ruination skin inspired by League’s Viego revealed in Episode 3 trailer

VALORANT and League of Legends Could Finally Cross Paths

Riot has released the Episode Three: Reflection trailer, offering a glimpse into the new season and potentially teasing a crossover between VALORANT and League of Legends. In the trailer, a new Guardian skin is showcased that bears a resemblance to the League champion Viego, sparking speculation of a Ruination event in VALORANT’s world.

Upcoming agent KAY/O is seen in action, eliminating three enemies with the Bucky before equipping the Guardian skin that shares the green and black color scheme of Viego. Furthermore, after defeating Reyna, she appears to be reincarnated as a ghost with a crown above her head. This finisher is believed to be a nod to Viego, the ruler responsible for the Ruination disaster in League of Legends.

Adding fuel to the speculation, Riot recently released a web puzzle that revealed a Sentinels of Light wallpaper when solved. This hints at a new League champion and event scheduled to run from July 8 to August 10. The inclusion of the Riot logo alongside the Sentinels of Light further suggests that the Ruination event may expand beyond just League of Legends and into other Riot titles.

While Riot has yet to confirm any of these details, the release of VALORANT’s Episode Three today leaves room for potential skin reveals and further hints at the crossover.
