Presenting the VALORANT 3.07 Patch Notes

VALORANT Patch 3.07: Drop-in-Drop-out Feature, Viper Changes, and Bug Fixes

The upcoming VALORANT 3.07 Patch will introduce several interesting changes to the game. Players will now be able to drop in and out of the Deathmatch mode without penalty. Viper’s wall will also apply instant decay to high-flying agents, and various game-crashing issues will be resolved.

One significant change in Patch 3.07 is the removal of the penalty for leaving Deathmatch early. This allows players to warm up before games without committing to a full match. Completing a full game will be necessary to earn CP.

Viper and Jett are also receiving minor updates. Viper’s wall will now consistently apply instant decay to agents traveling through its top part, including high-flying agents like Jett and Raze. Additionally, the visual dissolving effects in Viper’s smoke will be adjusted to eliminate any peeker’s advantage. Jett’s Blade Storm kunai will also recharge after killing training bots and defusing the spike. Practice bots make it easier for players to practice with the ability.

A new Raw Input Buffer setting is being introduced to improve the performance of mouse input processing, especially for those using an 8,000 Hz polling rate mouse.

Patch 3.07 will address several crashes reported by players, resulting in a more stable gameplay experience. Fixes include resolving the bug that caused the text cursor to relocate in the Report a Player menu and ensuring that the Team Ace award is only given when earned by the team.
