VALORANT Patch 3.08: Exciting Updates and New Features
VALORANT Patch 3.08 is here with some exciting updates that are sure to enhance your gaming experience. Let’s dive into what’s new:
Improved Player Reporting and Notifications
Reporting cheaters or problematic players is now even more rewarding. When Riot Games takes action against a reported player, you will receive a notification. This provides a sense of closure and satisfaction, whether you have the game open or not. The notification will appear the next time you load the game if you’re offline.
Customize Your Account Level Border
You can now equip any account level border you’ve unlocked and customize this option in the player card section. Furthermore, there’s a new feature to hide your account level from players who aren’t your friends.
More Skin Level Options
Patch 3.08 introduces the ability to equip any skin level of the default version. However, variants will default to the max level. This update is particularly exciting for players who want to adjust the level of their skins.
Performance Improvements
Several performance updates in Patch 3.08 aim to enhance the overall VALORANT gameplay experience. The UI updates have been reduced to lower the frequency of updates. Optimizations have also been made to Viper’s Poison Cloud and ultimate ability, as well as weapon and ability clipping plane calculations.
New Esports Features
Coaches now have the ability to swap between players using keybinds. Picture-In-Picture feature on the top player HUD allows coaches to easily spectate without confusion. Additionally, coaches can now see player keybinds on the mini-map, just like observers.
Bug Fixes
Patch 3.08 also addresses several bugs, including weapon skins appearing incorrectly and Viper’s gloves in left-hand mode. Viper’s ultimate no longer spawns incorrectly when placed on top of the shipping crates on Icebox. Various hitches and visual bugs have also been resolved.
