Riot Updates VALORANT Premier to Make it More Accessible for Amateur Teams

Premier Teams Allowed to Form at Any Time During Next VALORANT Act

VALORANT’s Premier tournament system, designed to encourage amateur teams to compete for glory, has previously deterred many teams due to its early enrollment entry barrier. However, Riot is now taking steps to make Premier more accessible to all players.

The official VALORANT Twitter account recently announced an update to Premier for Episode Eight, Act Two onwards. This update includes several quality of life improvements to the game mode, with the most significant change being the introduction of open enrollment. Teams can now join Premier at any point during the stage, allowing those who formed later in the season to immediately sign up in their respective zone and begin earning points towards the end-of-season playoffs.
