Players request to receive VALORANT points as rewards in premium battle pass instead of Radianite

VALORANT Players Call for Premium Battle Pass to Reward VALORANT Points Instead of Radianite Points

Many players on Reddit are advocating for the premium battle pass in VALORANT to reward VALORANT points instead of Radianite points. They argue that most other games with battle passes include the currency used to purchase the pass, allowing players to save up credits and buy the next pass. Some players suggest that Radianite should be convertible to VALORANT points.

Will Riot Respond to Fans’ Requests?

Riot has responded to requests from VALORANT fans in the past, such as allowing daily missions to roll over between 4am and 8am local time. However, it remains to be seen if they will address this specific request regarding the battle pass.

The premium version of the “Ignition: Act I” battle pass can be purchased for 1,000 VALORANT points, which is approximately $10. This pass offers additional rewards, including cosmetics and Radianite points for upgrading weapon skins.

Completing all 50 levels of the premium battle pass awards a total of 100 Radianite points. While this may seem significant, it actually equates to over 5,000 VALORANT points if converted.

If Riot were to reward VALORANT points instead of Radianite points, players would be able to earn enough points by completing the battle pass to purchase the next one without spending any money. This would be a valuable perk for dedicated players, as it would provide around 1,000 points towards the higher levels of the pass.

However, this change would also result in reduced VALORANT point purchase revenue for Riot, which is typically used to buy the battle pass and weapon skins from the rotating store.

Another concern is that players who purchase the battle pass cannot utilize the Radianite points they receive if they do not buy the corresponding skins that can be upgraded.

It should be noted that the premium battle pass does not reward skins with levels, such as the Prime and Sovereign collections, which are the most expensive skins in the game.

Since this is the first battle pass for VALORANT, it remains to be seen if Riot will make any changes based on player feedback and the ongoing experimentation with the game.
