Players outraged by the incredibly low chances of obtaining desired VALORANT skins

VALORANT Players Call for Change in Market Structure to Get Desired Skins

VALORANT players have found that the odds of getting their favorite skin in the cosmetic shop are quite slim. With 679 skins currently available in VALORANT, players who log in every day only have a 0.59 percent chance of getting their dream skin. This has led to a call for a change in VALORANT’s market structure.

The community recently gathered on Reddit to propose a simple fix to Riot Games. They suggested that VALORANT should adopt a market structure similar to League of Legends’ “open store” system, where players can purchase the skins they want whenever they want.

Players have claimed that they have waited up to nine months to find their dream skin, logging in every day in the process. While it is difficult to obtain the desired skin, the odds seem to decrease once players have purchased other cosmetics, as they no longer appear in the market.

Some players believe that Riot Games uses this market method to encourage impulse purchases. By making the market structure more like League of Legends’ open store, players would have the opportunity to get their dream skin without having to wait for months.
