Player Power Rankings for VCT Masters Stage 2 Reykjavík

Top Players to Watch in the VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Reykjavík Tournament

The VALORANT Champions Tour Masters Reykjavík tournament is about to kick off and it’s going to be the first time the best teams in the world compete in a LAN environment. Each team has proven themselves to be the best in their respective regions, showcasing some of the finest players in the sport. Today, we’re going to take a look at some of the standout players who are expected to shine in the competition.

10) Sharks Esports prozin

If Sharks Esports wants to make a strong showing in Iceland, their duelists need to step up. Wallacy “prozin” Sales has been switching between Raze and Phoenix lately, displaying the potential to pop off. However, his performance can be somewhat inconsistent. If he brings his A-game against NUTURN, Sharks Esports might have a chance to send their opponents to the lower bracket.

9) Team Vikings Sacy

Team Vikings went undefeated during the Brazil Challengers Finals, defeating their Brazilian rivals Shark Esports twice. The team’s Sova main, Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi, has been a surprising standout with his kills and overall performance. Sacy dropped an impressive 77 kills in Team Vikings’ second match against Shark Esports and had a 30-19 record in their first series.

8) KRU Esports Nagz

Juan Pablo “Nagz” Lopez has been a consistent performer for KRU Esports, despite the team having its ups and downs. With the addition of Joaquín Ignacio “delz1k” Espinoza Soto and Benjamin “bnj” Rabinovich, the team has received a much-needed boost. Nagz has been averaging 172.2 damage per round in the last month, making him one of the deadliest players heading to Iceland.

7) X10 Esports Patiphan Chaiwong

X10 Esports is currently on a 16-win streak, and a big part of their success is thanks to Patiphan Chaiwong. As a former Overwatch player, Chaiwong has exclusively used Jett since joining the team and consistently leads in kills. His explosive talent will be a formidable challenge for any team to handle, including their first opponent, Team Vikings.

6) Crazy Raccoon Munchkin

Byeon “Munchkin” Sang-beom is a former professional Overwatch player who transitioned to VALORANT in March. In his current team, Crazy Raccoon, Munchkin has been a star duelist primarily playing as Raze. His performance against Absolute JUPITER helped his team secure victories, earning them a spot in Iceland. Version1 will have a tough first match against Crazy Raccoon.

5) Version1 Penny

Version1 has one of the best storylines coming into Masters Reykjavík. The team started as an underdog but fought their way through the entire losers bracket and made it to the grand finals. Erik Penny played a crucial role in the team’s success, delivering incredible plays as Jett. He led Version1 in kills in the last three matches at Masters Two and is capable of repeating his outstanding performance in Iceland.

4) NUTURN allow

Park “allow” Sang-wook is regarded as one of the best players in Korea and is expected to maintain that title on the international stage. Allow played a significant role in NUTURN’s eight-game winning streak leading up to Masters Reykjavík, including a dominant win against Vision Strikers. Even if allow falters in Iceland, NUTURN has a talented roster that can step up and support the team.

3) Fnatic Derke

Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev is undoubtedly one of the best all-around players in Europe, capable of filling multiple roles effortlessly. Switching between Jett, Sova, and Sage, Derke has consistently performed at a high level since joining Fnatic. If he can maintain his exceptional performance in Iceland, Fnatic might have a shot at claiming the title.

2) Liquid Jamppi

Liquid has a formidable team in Europe, and the addition of Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen has given them the edge they needed to reach the top. Jamppi, a former Finnish CS:GO player, seamlessly transitioned into VALORANT and delivered incredible plays during the Challengers Finals. His skill and talent make him an excellent addition to an already stacked roster.

1) Sentinels TenZ

Tyson “TenZ” Ngo retired in January after a disappointing run with Cloud9 Blue. However, after Sinatraa’s suspension just before the VCT Masters One tournament, TenZ found a new opportunity for success. TenZ and Sentinels dominated the North American region, winning Masters One without dropping a single series. His exceptional gun skill and finesse have helped the team maintain their position at the top of NA and secure a spot at Masters Reykjavík. This will also be TenZ’s first LAN competition with Sentinels, potentially giving them an extra advantage.
