Player in VALORANT Uses Cypher Cage to Block Headshot and Win Round

Cypher’s Gadgets: A Hilarious Experience

A VALORANT player recently had a comical encounter that showcased the impressive capabilities of Cypher’s gadgets. In a video shared today, the player used Cypher’s Cyber Cage to block a headshot from a Vandal, leading to a clutch round victory.

A Close Call

The Cypher player found themselves in a dangerous one-vs-two situation on Bind’s B Elbow. They carefully moved through the area, hoping to catch their opponents off-guard. Spotting Jett hiding in a corner, the Cypher player swiftly eliminated her with a precise headshot. With only one enemy remaining, it was up to Cypher’s gadgets to save the day.

A Well-Timed Move

As their ally fell, the enemy Sage emerged from B Long and aimed for a perfect headshot. However, the Cypher player threw out a Cyber Cage at the same time, miraculously blocking the Vandal bullet. Instead of dealing the usual 160 headshot damage, the bullet only caused 135 damage. This remarkable maneuver left the Cypher player with a mere 15 health. Taking advantage of their second chance, the Cypher player quickly eliminated Sage when she swung a second time.

A Unique Interaction

While it’s possible that the Sage shot through the wall, the slowed-down portion of the video suggests that the cage intercepted the bullet mid-air. This unusual interaction showcases the potential of Cypher’s gadgets in unexpected situations.

Although this particular scenario may be unlikely to occur again, it is unlikely that Riot will make any changes to patch it out of the game.
