VCT Masters Copenhagen Day 1 Draws Impressive Viewership

The first day of VCT Masters Copenhagen attracted a significant amount of attention, with impressive viewer numbers.

The VALORANT tournament, which started yesterday, reached a peak of 443,637 concurrent viewers, as reported by Esports Charts. Overall, the first day of the event averaged 299,890 viewers and accumulated 2,998,893 hours watched, despite only being on air for 10 hours.

When compared to other VALORANT events, the inaugural day of VCT Masters Copenhagen ranks seventh in terms of overall viewership, according to Esports Charts. With the tournament just beginning, it is expected to attract hundreds of thousands more viewers in the upcoming days, especially with the playoffs featuring a live audience for the first time in VALORANT esports history.

The peak viewership of 440,000 coincided with yesterday’s match between KRÜ Esports and LOUD, two South American squads. Another record could be set today as KRÜ goes head-to-head with Europe’s Guild Esports for the top spot in the playoffs in Group A. However, FPX will face XERXIA first, with FPX utilizing a stand-in player.
