Outlaw, VALORANT’s First Sniper Rifle, Leaks as the Game’s Newest Weapon Introduction

The Outlaw: A Game-Changing Addition Coming to VALORANT?

Exciting news for VALORANT players! Leaked images have surfaced online, suggesting the possibility of a new weapon making its way into the game’s arsenal.

Prominent VALORANT influencers have shared an image of a sniper rifle called the Outlaw. The leaked image shows the Outlaw alongside the already established sniper rifles, the Marshal and the Operator. The source of the image appears to be a Chinese VALORANT clip on Bilibili, showcasing new bundle skins on an early access build of the game.

In the leaked clip, the buy menu briefly appears, showcasing the Outlaw as one of the available weapons.

The clip suggests that the Outlaw is priced at 2,400 credits, placing it between the cheaper Marshal and the powerful Operator. Surprisingly, the Outlaw is even more expensive than reliable rifles like the Bulldog and the Guardian, indicating that it could play a significant role in the game’s future.

The existing sniper rifle, the Marshal, is already capable of taking down an enemy with just two shots at any range. It’s difficult to imagine a sniper rifle that could be more powerful than the Marshal but less powerful than the Operator.

Visually, the Outlaw resembles an Old West-style lever-action rifle, similar to the Lockwood Mk 2 marksman rifle from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, known for its high damage range.

Given the shorter scope of the Outlaw, it could offer a different playstyle compared to traditional snipers. It may have a higher fire rate, with less damage per shot and a shorter zoom. However, these details are purely speculative at this point. With the leaked image circulating, an official announcement from Riot Games might not be far off.
