One VALORANT star amazes with an extraordinary performance, leading an unexpected LCQ Cinderella run

Keznit Leads KRÜ Esports to Victory in VCT Americas Last Chance Qualifier

Esports is home to amazing stories, and in the 2023 VCT Americas Last Chance Qualifier, one team has risen from zero to hero in just four days, thanks to the outstanding performance of Angelo “keznit” Mori, one of the region’s top VALORANT stars.

According to stats site VLR.gg, KRÜ Esports’ duelist extraordinaire, keznit, has the most first kills with an impressive tally of 29 in the LCQ. This has been a key factor in his team’s remarkable journey to the grand finals of the event. The 21-year-old’s ability to dominate opening duels has been on full display, making him the driving force behind his squad’s Cinderella run to the Champions.

Over half of Keznit’s first kills have been on Raze, where he bursts onto the site or into contested areas using her satchel. He consistently gets the drop on his opponents, providing his team with space and control as they push forward.

Furthermore, he boasts an impressive average combat score of 293.6 on the agent, along with an average damage per round of 196.7. This makes him a formidable threat right from the start of each match.

Keznit’s teammates at KRÜ Esports, Nicolas “Klaus” Ferrari and Marco “Melser” Amaro, are not far behind him with 25 and 23 first kills, respectively, according to VLR.gg. As a team, KRÜ has the highest number of collective first kills in the tournament with a total of 112. They play at a blistering pace and have ignited at exactly the right moment as a cohesive unit.

In their recent series against Cloud9, Keznit didn’t need to go all out for the team to succeed. While the young star has been the top fragger for most of their matches, this time the rest of the team found their rhythm, created their own moments, and were vital to their team’s journey to the grand finals.

Now, the final challenge awaits as KRÜ Esports prepares to face either Cloud9 or Leviatán on Sunday, July 23.
