Omen Temporarily Disabled in VALORANT Following Reports of Game-Breaking Bug

Riot Games Disables Omen Agent in VALORANT Due to Bug

Riot Games has taken action to address a bug in the popular game agent Omen in VALORANT. Players have reported a bug where Omen becomes invulnerable after using his ultimate ability and having it canceled at the end of a round. This bug has caused significant disruption, with some players even losing rank due to defeats against opponents exploiting the bug.

Issue Not Fully Resolved

While Riot believed they had fixed the issue by implementing new tech in the latest patch, it turns out that the fix did not resolve all the problems with Omen. In order to find a proper solution, the VALORANT team has announced that Omen will be disabled until a fix is deployed.

The VALORANT team initially believed that the teleporting bug, where Omen could pass through spawn barriers, was a map issue. However, they later discovered that the problem was actually related to Omen himself.

This teleporting bug had already been reported by players before the invincibility bug. It allowed Omen to exploit the glitch and enter the enemy’s side on the Bind map before the barriers were lifted.

It is important for Riot Games to address such bugs promptly in order to maintain a fair and balanced gameplay experience for all players. Hopefully, a proper fix for Omen will be rolled out soon.
