Newest VALORANT Map: Discover the Lost City of Lotus

VALORANT introduces new map called Lotus in Episode Six, Act One

Riot Games, the developer of VALORANT, has introduced the game’s ninth map set in the Western Ghats of Omega Earth’s India.

Lotus, the new map, is a three-site map similar to Haven. It features new mechanics like rotating doors, destructible walls, and a silent drop. Players will explore the lost city inspired by Indian stepwells.

Lotus offers plenty of greenery and beautiful scenery, similar to Breeze. However, the map appears to have a straightforward design, similar to Haven.

The map has an “ancient vibe,” inspired by Indiana Jones, according to Brian Yam, Riot’s art and concept lead. The visual experience aims to give players an Indiana Jones moment, such as discovering a lost city in the Rock-Cut cave.

Originally, Lotus was supposed to be a space station with an airlock mechanism. However, the idea was scrapped, leading to the creation of an ancient-style map.

Players will get to explore the new map starting from Jan. 10th in VALORANT Episode Six, Act One.
