New VALORANT Shooting Range Teaser Suggests Impending Arrival of Agent

Audio Teaser in VALORANT Shooting Range Hints at New Agent

VALORANT players have discovered a new audio teaser in the shooting range, suggesting the upcoming release of the game’s next agent.

Riot Games has been offering subtle hints about the new VALORANT agent for months. In the Year One Anthem video, players spotted a well-dressed individual, and the Fracture trailer was narrated by someone with a French accent. The trailer also featured a scene where two bullets collided, destroying the Fracture facility. It is strongly implied that the chaos was caused by Deadeye, the reported new agent.

Patch 3.08 of VALORANT introduced a new audio teaser in the shooting range, providing further hints about the sophisticated and high-class nature of the upcoming agent. According to VALORANT lore enthusiast Cynprel, the audio can be heard at the bottom of a staircase behind a boarded-up wall.

This aligns with a previous teaser from the State of the Agents September update, which showcased a fancy business card and a cup of coffee. The new interactable option on Fracture is a business card, appearing to be the backside of the card from the State of the Agents update. While not much is known about the new agent, it is evident that they have a taste for the finer things in life.

Although Riot Games has not made an official announcement about the new agent, it has been revealed that they will be a sentinel. The gun cases found in Fracture may also provide hints about their abilities, suggesting the possibility of a special sniper rifle or other long-range optics.
