Discover Brimstone’s Office in VALORANT: New Lore Revealed
If you’re a fan of VALORANT, get ready for some exciting new lore! Players have uncovered Brimstone’s office, located beneath the Shooting Range in the game. This discovery gives players a chance to learn more about the leader of the VALORANT Protocol.
Many players initially believed that the recent audio teaser emanating from beneath the Shooting Range was related to the new sentinel agent, Chamber. However, Patch 3.09 brought a surprising surprise. The basement of the Shooting Range was finally accessible, revealing an intriguing room.
As you enter the dark hallway beyond the doorway, Brimstone’s office becomes apparent. The office is filled with interactive objects that provide valuable information. You can listen to a voice memo from Killjoy, who discusses her progress on the teleportal research at the Fracture facility. She also expresses her need for a higher budget to make further advancements.
In addition, there’s an email from Viper that reveals the team has completed a sweep of the destroyed Everett-Linde facility on Fracture. Cypher is attempting one final data recovery. It seems that Viper is skeptical about the VALORANT Protocol’s ability to reverse engineer the Alpha-Omega bridge connecting the two universes. However, Killjoy is using the short-range portals as a starting point for her research.
Within the office, players will also come across several pictures from Brimstone’s past. One picture shows Brimstone as a child playing baseball with a friend. Another depicts Brimstone and presumably the same friend in front of a firetruck. There’s also a picture of both characters seated on a military vehicle in a desert. Furthermore, Brimstone can be seen posing on a motorcycle in front of a state park. Lastly, a picture on his desk captures Brimstone giving a speech to recruits dressed in similar uniforms.
Intriguingly, a lore enthusiast named Cynprel discovered that Brimstone is carrying a person to safety in his unlockable Contract player card. This individual may very well be the friend seen in the previously mentioned photos. Some fans have even speculated that KAY/O possesses the soul or personality of Brimstone’s friend, but this is purely conjecture at this point.
Overall, the discovery of Brimstone’s office adds another layer of lore for VALORANT players to immerse themselves in. It hints at what players can expect in Act Three.
