Riot Games Reveals New VALORANT Map in Cinematic Trailer
In the latest cinematic trailer for Episode Six, Riot Games has unveiled a brand new map for VALORANT and its exciting location.
The new VALORANT map, named Lotus, will be set in India, which is the same place where the recently added agent Harbor hails from. The trailer showcases Harbor and Astra venturing through the jungle to unlock a secret passage, eventually stumbling upon the stunning new map. Towards the end of the trailer, glimpses of the map are revealed, featuring a grand temple-like structure adorned with vibrant pink lotus flowers on its peaks.
Before Harbor’s official release, Riot dropped teasers hinting at his character, showcasing various Indian food and locations. While it has not been confirmed whether these teasers were related to the new map, it is a possibility given the shared locations. Riot has not disclosed the specific Indian locations for both Harbor and the map.
The cinematic trailer not only introduces the new map, but it also connects to teasers released in December. In the trailer, Raze and Killjoy can be seen enjoying a meal together in Korea, accompanied by Jett. This aligns with earlier teasers of the trio on a vacation, confirming Raze and Killjoy’s romantic relationship, which is further highlighted in the newest trailer.
