A Recap of Excel’s VALORANT Journey

Throughout 2021, Excel had some involvement in VALORANT but only achieved a semi-competitive level in the tournaments they participated in. They managed to secure a second-place finish at the VALORANT Open Tour: France – Spring Qualifiers. However, they had to withdraw from the finals in November due to an incomplete lineup.

A New Look for Excel

The reformed Excel team comprises a mix of rookie and veteran talents with international experience playing for renowned organizations like G2 Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and Entropiq. With a complete five-stack, Excel aims to establish itself as a prominent name in the VALORANT scene in 2022.

Upcoming Matches and Challenges

Excel’s first match of the 2022 season will be against Ignisoul Gaming in the VCT 2022 Europe Stage One Open Qualifier. The team is determined to qualify for the VCT Stage One Challengers circuit. The Challengers circuit is scheduled to commence on February 11 and will serve as the gateway to the VCT Masters tournament, which is set to take place in April 2022.
