CS:GO Major Champions Headline Team France in VALORANT Charity Event

Former teammates Kenny “kennyS” Schrub and Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt, who were champions in the CS:GO Major, will be the star players for Team France in the upcoming VALORANT charity event called BLAST Spike Nations. This event will take place from October 7th to 9th.

Introducing Team France

KennyS and NBK- will be joined by two talented female VALORANT professionals, Nouhara “Ninou” Oraha and Lucy “Sliicyy” Tran, who play for the team TENSTAR. The lineup will be completed by content creator KaffWorld.

Transition to VALORANT

NBK- retired from CS:GO in June with the intention of competing in Riot Games’ FPS. On the other hand, kennyS’ plans for the future remain uncertain. Although he has been playing VALORANT on his streams, he has not yet revealed if he will make the switch like NBK-.

Previous Success and New Challenge

NBK- and kennyS have played together on several French CS:GO teams in the past, including VeryGames, G2, and Envy. Their most notable achievement was winning the DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca Major in November 2015 under the Envy organization, defeating Natus Vincere.

The BLAST Spike Nations, featuring 12 VALORANT squads, will showcase star players like cNed, Boaster, nAts, and Derke representing Team Turkey, Team U.K., Team CIS, and Team Nordics respectively.

The teams will be divided into three groups of four, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the playoffs. Fans of NBK- and kennyS will have the opportunity to see how they perform against established VALORANT professionals.
